Author’s notes:
Chapter 60??? Can you believe that??
A great big giant shout out to Fourchette, who has been doing all the blog changes you have seen! It is awesome, and I am graphically challenged, so there is no way I could do it on my own!
I am seriously behind in reviews, emails, PMs, etc. Sorry about that. I’m playing attention, really! But I probably won’t be able to respond to very many of them before the weekend.
Hindsight is a beautiful thing.
Chapter 60:
“Considering which end of the gun is pointing at you, I think your name is a little more important here.” I sounded calm, even to myself, but inside I was a freaking wreck. I had no idea who this guy was. His voice wasn’t familiar, and I couldn’t see him in the dim light well enough to determine if I knew his face. Normally, I might not have cared that much – I would have either shot him or taken the chance, solely dependent on my mood – but I couldn’t do that now. Bella was inside, and if anything happened to me, she’d be on her own.
“My name is Lee Stephens,” he told me. “I know you probably don’t know me, but we have a mutual friend. Aro Volturi? Well, I guess he’s an ex-friend.”
He laughed nervously.
“Um…seriously,” he continued. “I was trying to work out a deal with you, through him, when he…well…”
His feet shuffled a little on the gravel drive. I took a half step forward and touched the back of his neck with the barrel. He went still.
“I just want to talk business, I swear.”
“You want to explain why you showed up here, to talk whatever business you want to talk about at this time of night?”
“I wasn’t really planning on talking to you tonight,” he said. “I heard you were in the area, and thought I’d take a chance on finding you. You know…to maybe talk about finishing the deal with you directly? I should have been here hours ago, but I got lost and drove around forever. I wasn’t even sure I had the right place, but when I saw a light on…”
His nervous laugh resurfaced.
Hindsight is a beautiful thing. The thing that sucks about it is that you can’t use it before hand.
There were probably a dozen little alarms going off in my head. I didn’t know why I didn’t pay them any heed. Bella was far too distracting, and I really did seem to have a hard time thinking straight when every other thought was about her, even with my gun up to some idiot who practically snuck up on me in the middle of the night. A thousand thoughts about her safety were going through my head – killing him would require either a cleanup crew of a big-ass hole in the ground, which I did not want to dig. I didn’t want him to even see Bella, because even knowing I was here with someone could be a threat. At the same time, someone probably knew he was here, so killing him wasn’t the best idea, either. He could even have a collection of thugs on the other side of the hill.
If he was really just here for a quick deal…well…it would be a lot more suspicious for me not to talk to him than it would be for me to talk to him. Besides, if I talked to him for a while I might get an idea of he was legit or not. If he was, I could make nice with him, talk a little business and send him on his way. If things got a little dicey…well, I’d deal with that as it comes along.
“I can leave…come back in the morning…”
There was sweat collecting on the back of his neck, so at least I knew he was genuinely worried. I dropped the gun slightly, but still kept it aimed at him.
“Back of the house,” I said. I followed behind him as we walked around the corner to the back patio. I reached over and shut the door, not wanting Bella to wake up or be seen. I motioned with the gun for him to sit in one of the chairs, and I sat next to him and finally got a good look. He was a tall guy, kind of burly and maybe about twenty-five. He kind of looked like one of those suburban gang members who desperately wanted to be a bad ass, but just couldn’t quite pull it off.
“Who are you again?” I asked.
“Lee Stephens,” he said. “I’ve been kind of an admirer of yours, I guess you would say. I’ve done a few deals – small time stuff only, nothing that would interfere with your business or anything. I was hoping I might be able to start using you as a supplier, to be completely blunt.”
His nervous laugh was starting to annoy the shit out of me.
“And?”
“And…um…” His hand wiped the back of his neck. “I tried to get an appointment with you, and I couldn’t. So, I went through Aro.”
“Maybe you should still go through Aro.” I kept my gaze steady and right on him.
“Is that a joke or something?” he asked.
“Am I laughing?”
“Um…no…” he mumbled. His hand rubbed at his forehead. “Aro’s who organization got taken over. No one’s seen him, so I kind of figured he was out, you know?”
“No, I don’t,” I said. “I’m on vacation.”
“Oh…yeah,” he stumbled over his words. “Shit, I’m really sorry about that. I just…wanted to meet you…you know, start up a business relationship? I know you can get what my clients want, and I’d like to work with you.”
“How did you find this place?”
“Word gets around,” he said with a shrug.
I leveled the H&K with his face.
“Give me a better answer,” I demanded. This guy was either stupid or extremely amateur. Maybe both.
“Shit…Uh…I heard from Harry Clearwater that you had a place around here. I do some work with his son, Seth. They said you were out of the country – out of the States, that is – and that you weren’t too far from where I had a warehouse. I was here anyway, so I took the chance.”
“Not good enough.” I stood up and took a step towards him. His hands went in the air.
“I swear!” he cried. “Shit – really! I only wanted to meet you! I tried to work through the Hales and a couple of the Pack guys, and they couldn’t get me an appointment with you! I just want to buy some guns, I swear!”
I stared at him for a moment, making sure my calm and collected exterior remained and none of my internal thoughts and worries were displayed. His story was plausible. I didn’t tend to take appointments for new customers – I had enough business and I was pretty exclusive. It was entirely possible a small times dealer like this guy obviously was would go through Aro, who would place a larger order for multiple clients. I slowly lowered myself back into my chair.
His story fit.
But I didn’t like it.
The sliding door moved.
Ah, fuck no.
Bella stepped out, her bare legs sticking out of the short robe she had wrapped around her.
It was entirely possible that this guy – whoever he was – would recognize her for what she was. Or rather, what she was supposed to be. If he had done business with Aro in the past, he most certainly knew. If he realized she was not a slave, he was going to be suspicious. If he got suspicious, Bella was in danger.
And I really, really didn’t want to dig a giant-ass hole for his body.
Aside from that, there was no telling who knew he had come out here to find me, a group of buddies nearby or not. Having him just disappear without understanding exactly who he was could be more deadly than killing him now. If I could convince him we could have a business relationship – which he really seemed interested in having – I could avoid the whole mess, and keep Bella safe.
But only if she understood that she had to play along.
I looked up to her and our eyes met. I found myself hoping she really could read my mind like she implied earlier, because I needed her to act like the slave she was supposed to be. There was only one way I could think of, aside from actual telepathy, to cue her in on what I needed her to do.
“I don’t recall giving you permission to leave bed,” I snapped at her. My eyes narrowed and I glared in her direction as her eyes went wide. I placed my gun in my lap, pulled out a cigarette, and lit it. “I thought you were supposed to come trained already.”
She was going to play along, right?
Chapter End Notes:
Oh Bella…can you play nice for Eddie? Will she be willing, even if she does realize what he’s trying to do, or is she still too pissed off at him to care?
I probably would have cracked my chin open on the keyboard if anyone had actually guessed the name of the guy who came to visit them. Actually, just knowing that name is some pretty Twi-serious trivia. No googling! Do you remember who Lee Stephens is in the books?
More tomorrow!
Lee Stephens is the kid that got sick in Bio when they did blood typing.
ReplyDeleteAhhh! What an idtiot this guy is! And a bit of a pussy too. I mean, what kind of guy wants to make an appointment with a top-notch bad-ass arms dealer and then practically squeals like a girl when he gets a gun pointed in his face?
ReplyDeleteRight. Lee Stephens. The same guy who passed out in blood typing during Twilight, right? The only reason I remember that is that I went to high school with a guy named Lee Stephens. Every time I read that scene in the book, I chuckle and think of him!
i keep forgettting about your story being here!
ReplyDeletestill love the banner..
i really hope that bella picks up on what edward is trying to do.
lee is the guy in the first book that mike carried to the nurse. i only know this because i just re-read twilight with my daughter!
::sobbing::
ReplyDeleteNo hot doctor?
::more sobbing::
I'll shot that fucker for you Doofy, just because he isn't Carlise!
Isn't he the guy bella went to first that works with jenks? No? Maybe? I didn't google!
ReplyDeleteDamn I don't know!! But I'm skeered! How did he find them! I'm dying here bb! Update soon!
ReplyDeleteWow to those who knew who the Lee Stephens was, you had me baffled. I think Bella will catch on, she knows that they still may have people after them. She also would realize they are hiding so if he is acting different then there will be a reason for it.
ReplyDeleteI really do hope that Bella understands what Edward is doing. He has never talked to her like this, so I think she'll get it.
ReplyDeleteI hope that Lee Stephens isn't bad news bears.
Thanks for sharing.
Great chapter! Hopefully Bella will realize what's going on and play along and then when the guy is gone beat the crap out of Edward! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteoh please play along bella please! doofus promises to repay you with something wonderfully fulfilling later i promise! (at least he better! you hear me woman!)
ReplyDeletei dont buy it,there is something more to this guy.
ReplyDeletei mean, who would be this dumb.
and bella, i really hope she gets it, and why the heck did she got out?
was edward not holding a gun in his hand?
and pointing...?
thanks for the update shay. ;)
Bella is one sharp cookie. I think she'll figure out what Edward's doing, and play right along. And probably be terrified at the necessity of having to do so - she'll know it can't mean anything good...
ReplyDeletedam woman, did you pull that character out of your arse or what?
ReplyDeletehhhmm i am not liking this at all. it is obvious Edward is not hiding very well if some low level gun supplier was able to find him.
Bella will play along just because there is someone there she doesn't know
I feel like epic fail for failing to remember who Lee Stephens was. Sigh.. you are just pulling out all the stops on us huh?. I would be inclined to believe, Bella will understand Edward and play along with what he needs her to do... thanks so much for the update...
ReplyDeleteOh I loved this and He was the second person brought into see the nurse The one Mike brought in see you next update....
ReplyDeleteShe's smart, I think she'll go along with him, then backslap the crap out of him later lol thanks Savage.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea who Lee Stephens is. Google, here I come.
ReplyDeleteI think he is a cop. I wonder if Bella will recognize him.
xx
PS Not getting any email alerts. Thank heavens for twitter.
Googled it sorry. Damn girl! How'd you ever pull that name?!
ReplyDeleteNope, door, dig a big fuckin hole. Alice is gonna kill your ass!
Of course, he was the guy that got sick during blood testing in biology in twilight
ReplyDeleteI had to Google it, so it doesn't count, he he.
ReplyDeletePlease Eddy do not trust Lee, he surely is up to no good.
Canon Lee Stephens is a douche and a pussy. And CBWR Lee Stephens is a douche and a pussy.
ReplyDeleteI hope Bella realizes Edward's acting. And that she plays along even tho she's pissed at him. Really hoping this Lee guy won't cause any trouble. They really don't need anymore trouble.
P.S.
Where's Alice? I miss her a little.
I wish I could quit you...
ReplyDeleteSeriously, these endings are almost too much too take over and over again!
Love this story so much.
I am guessing he was the guy at the gas station in BD or one of the bad guys with Lonnie that attacked her. I think Bella will play along.
ReplyDeleteWow I am impressed I remember the name but had no idea where it came from but it seems a lot of other people remembered :)))
ReplyDeleteGosh I can't wait to see what Bella does! :) This guy seems totally shady! I see digging in Edward's future :)
Geez Edward can't catch a break!
ReplyDeleteThis LEE character better be legit!
Doh! I was wrong again! Lol
ReplyDelete~Queenbeee78
Yeah...I feel like a total dope for not remembering who Lee was. I had a vague notion that he was one of the students, but totally forgot he was the blood-typing guy until I saw other people answer it. (In my defense, it has been awhile since I read the first book—too long, obviously!).
ReplyDeleteThe fact that this small-timer (if indeed that's what he is) was able to find them so easily concerns me. I think whatever happens with him, they need to move, pronto. Paris, anyone? ;-)
The next one should be interesting. I think Bella will play along, but she'll have a few choice words for Doofus afterward! What interests me even more is why she was coming outside to see him. Did she see the headlights? Hear their conversation? Or was she coming out to have words with Doofus—perhaps to apologize?
I'm afraid Lee Stephens is either FBI, or someone in Aro's organization sent out to get Edward. I'm worried for him, and for Bella...
ReplyDeleteBoy, Doofus his really falling for her, isn't he? I find it really sweet!
xoSus
Is it weird that I actually felt bad for the guy? Like I was genuinely afraid for him. hahaha If he's a bad guy, consider me fooled.
ReplyDeleteBella is a smart girl. I have faith that she'll play along in some manner.
ReplyDeleteI am wondering who this guy really is... I can't get if he's a Fed/agent of some sort or if he's with one of the organisations. Heck, I've wondered a few times if Charlie or Renee's families hadn't been linked (either positively or negatively) with one of the organisations. But that's likely me trying to over think things.
Okay... Lee Stephens. I keep thinking Lee Jordan... as in the kid in HP. Friend of Gred & Forge. Mmmm... lemme think. Without Google... I haven't a clue. A student is what my brain is telling me, but I'm not certain from which book or where we exactly saw him.
I'm sure she'll play along, but what the hell was she thinking walking out when he was pointing a gun on someone? And I was kind of waiting for her to say, "That's the guy that talked to me in the bar".
ReplyDeleteYour new chapter was awesome. I don't know wtf Bella is going to do now... I think she may play along, but then our boy has some explaining to do. I don't know if I by Lee's story, and how did anyone know where Edward was? So I guess Harry Clearwater and Seth are not good guys in your story but just who did Edward tell besides Angela where he was going? I think it is definitely time to relocate. If this guy has a factory near by then it sounds like he has other guys working for him near by that's for sure. I really don't understand why Edward would think that this guy would know that he bought himself a slave. Isn't anything confidential? Oh boy, what do you have for us next... I wonder. This was totally unexpected and really good... of course.
ReplyDeleteOh and I totally googled Lee Stephens - good one.
RoryCullen
no idea who Lee Stephens is sans google. so, peaks out head "can I google now? lol"
ReplyDeleteargh, another cliffie. what are we going to do with you?
So what will Bella do? I can't call this one. More, please.
AUSTENBRONTEMEYER SAID...
ReplyDeleteSite looks amazing! The texture behind looks like Volturi marble, nicely played.
Yeah, this is long to make up for the lost 4. Ok, trying to post again so we will see. I tried to a few times under my Google id and do not wish to use my LiveJournal ID but all 4 reviews got lost before posting so I will keep adding the “Austenbrontemeyer said” under the anonymous to the top lest I truly be anonymous…
Worried about the threat in this new guy but more worried about the reminder of his gun running.
We do so want them together after all of this because they need each other. Who better to accomplish this? That said, in order for that to happen Bella must be able to salvage him (or he himself) in a believable manner and without a remaining lifelong punishment or Charlie never coming to accept him.
"With Teeth" (TWLGHTD) was a favorite as well and that particular E was similarly self-destructive, albeit drugs and alcohol were his evils and he was particularly evil when they took over. Tallulah, I’ll have to check, had them together off and on through it all until it was pretty obvious that he was unfixable unless he took the initiative (and you cried for them), walked away and truly got clean after maybe a year alone without her. It was done in a time lapse 3 chapters though I think. At that point, he had done the time and the reunion was poignant and lasting and we were all crying again.
It would be a slow smile if, after a year of your E working as perhaps an advocate to help stop human trafficking, having given up the illegal aspects of his business of course or becoming an outspoken and hardworking philanthropist, he would be included in some law enforcement banquet honoring similar accomplishments. Charlie may be there for some reason and (unknowingly) introduces Bella to Edward Cullen, philanthropist and all around good guy, (sic).
Law Enforcement has to know what is going on with all of these guys falling like flies; they must have their guys placed inside Aro’s organization or close and monitoring…
Eeeks!
Is this new threat guy anything BUT sinister?!
*Arches eyebrows*
Undercover law enforcement FBI/CIA/Interpol who will convince E to join him in completing a sting or catching the remainder of those involved? Hmmm… the plot thickens.
Omfg!
ReplyDeleteThat man is an undercover cop?
I forget the name. I need to re-read my twilight;)
ReplyDeleteI think that Bella will play along, because she is really smart. And she knows that Edward would not talk to her like that without a reason. But that guy? I am very suspicious. Even a small time guy should not be that stupid. Even if he got lost or whatever, that would still not explain how he could be stupid enough to come up on someone obviously armed and bad ass in the middle of nowhere after midnight. Great chapter! Looking forward!
ReplyDeleteYes, play along Bella! You can kick his ass after.
ReplyDeleteYeah, what zee-21 said! lol
ReplyDeleteI'd expect any hit man who came openly to gain trust and then betray, granted, I'm doubt a hit man would come openly. Having fun seeing what twists you'll come up with!
Hmm, Bella has shown quite the composure so far, so I guess she'll think quickly and play along.
ReplyDeleteBut maybe they'll have to move afterward? Obviously, people know where he is...
Loved it how he thought that because of Bella he cannot be reckless and impulsive as before.
Salix caprea
come on bella! play along! please do!
ReplyDeleteDamn, couldn't he have said, "Honey, sorry we woke you. Why don't you go back to bed. I'll be with you shortly." When Bella showed no signs of recognizing Lee, he should have played her as his wife.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Bella will play along, but she will hate being reminded of what was done to her.
I'm not sure I trust this Lee guy. I hope he didn't track Bella through her chip. And if he has been working with who he said he has, Edward should make some check-up calls.
I didn't remember Lee Stephens and googled him: he was in Bella's biology class in "Twilight" and had to go to the nurse the day they did blood typing. "There were probably a dozen little alarms going off in my head. I didn’t know why I didn’t pay them any heed." – it seems that Edward is making a mistake, leaving him alive. I wonder why he would come alone if he is one of the bad guys. Bella is clever and I hope she will play along. This is a very interesting turn of events. I hope it will turn out that Lee Stevens is a policeman or a PI looking for her.
ReplyDeleteReading the other comments, I just realized that Lee could be a cop. What if Bella recognizes him? How will she save Edward after a line like that? I think "Sorry we're on our honeymoon and playing kinky games" is not going to cut it. Shit whoever this guy is, he is bad news. And if he can find them, anybody else can too. First dawn, they better be out of there. If I were them I would head east. Prague is always worth a trip and the Volutri have no ties there. I would avoid France and Italy like the pest. UK has to many surveillance cameras, Ireland is to hard to get off of in case of an emergence, Croatia would be another good destination but they may stick out because the tourists are still scarce after the war, Spain could be okay too. Whatever they do, they have to get out of Germany and fast.
ReplyDeletethink she know what going on! but be funny if she goes u work with seth? well he F.B.I ha ha that will get edward running:)
ReplyDeleteI love it. I think that Bella will play along but she will give Edward an ear full when he's done with that guy.
ReplyDeleteOh Doofy, I got a bad feeling about this guy -- there are only 2 options:
ReplyDelete(a) he's what he says he is (albeit pretty stupid) *or*
(b) he's bait (and expendable) sent by someone fishing around...
Bella's a smart gal -- I suspect she will play along.
I smell a cop, and only a cop would be dumb enough to come up in the middle of the night, a cop that's a friend of Charlie's and is desperate to help out his buddy.
ReplyDeleteWhy does it now seem like the police are going to see Edward as the bad guy and kill him on sight for being a slave trader.. cause he is the bad guy.;-(
Wow, I can really get going on a wild tangent.
But I still don't care for the guy, I'm glad Edward hasn't killed him, in case he's a cop friend of Charlie's, but I have to admit I kinda wanted him to to protect them and get going on digging that hole.
I'm sure Bella will get it.
Can't wait for more;D)
Wait== let me correct that above dumb comment... not that cops are dumb by any means, but in the reverse psychology world of ff where hit women, arms dealer who are involved with slave traders are the good guys/gals the cop is dumb only in that he isn't involved[informed] of the wise ways of the antihero's?? does that make that statement any righter? ha ha I give up.
ReplyDeleteChapters 57, 58, 59 & 60
ReplyDeleteYeah so I know that Eddie was trying to "do the right thing by not giving in to Bella's advances, but as a general rule? Women don't like that shit so he is not going to be high in her list of her favorite people right now, know what I mean?
Lee Stephens showing up, unannounced is pretty bizarre to me and I don't blame Edward one bit. Now, I am ever so curious if Bella will play along with Edward and his "slave" bit. On one hand I think yes just because she should be in a protective mode all things considering. But on the other hand, Eddie refused her when she offered up some lovin' and that has GOT to piss her off! I am dying to know which way she goes. *tosses coin*
Lee Stephens was the kid in Biology that had to go to the nurse's office. Very obscure reference indeed. *gives thumbs up* Hell, yes I Googled it! Who would remember that?? LOL!!!
Keye
gah! I thought we were gonna get into the whole sex mess and you blind side us with this douche? Bella better play along or things are just goig to get worse. I think this is a cop or Fed for sure!
ReplyDeleteLee Stephans, no I didn't remember, but I saw the answer in the reviews. Way to get random!
ReplyDeleteI think Bella will immediately figure it out because she sees a guy there that she doesn't know. Or maybe she's seen him before, then she'll definitely know. Either way, she'll play along, but there will be repercussions.
After Lee leaves, I hope Edward packs Bella in the car and they leave immeditately to anywhere else. If this gut could find them, then others could too...
OH shit just got crazy!!!
ReplyDeleteLee Stephens was in Bella's Bio II class at her junior year. He had to go to the nurse the day they did blood typing, accompanied to the medical room by Mike, who later invited him to La Push. He seemed to be dating a girl named Samantha. that is all i can remember :)
ReplyDeleteI think Bella will figure it out and play along. I dont trust this guy. How could Clearwater know about the house? It was supposed to be a secret. I can't imagine him telling someone who wasn't a very close associate. To fishy. Thanks for the update. I'm looking forward to more!
ReplyDeleteStephanie
I like the way the blog looks. I was surprised. I had not a clue who this guy was. Manu better Twiligt fans out there I guess. LOL! I think Bella will get it, she is pretty smart actually! Somehow I missed this update! I saw on Twitter that 61 had updated. Whoops! I Am on to 61 now!
ReplyDeleteIt would be great if, as on Icy's site , we could respond/post to each others comments. These girls have some amazing ideas so whoever the Tech Goddess snazzing up your site is, perhaps ask if she can put a rsvp link which would just auto post at the end of each post. :)
ReplyDeleteOh dear, this guy is definitely not who he says he is. It's just not plausible that he could be big enough to be able to make contact with Aro, and yet be such an old woman when someone pulls a gun on him - something someone in his line of business should be used to. Nope, not buying it, nor that he found Edward's hideaway so easily. I think he has access to Bella's chip signal, which could make him a part of Aro's organisation. Is there any possibility Bella might have seen him, or he her? I'm pretty sure she'll work out what Edward's up to because she's smart as a whip, but if either one of them recognises the other it could get a bit dodgy .... and Edward will likely need to find that little green shovel and start digging!
ReplyDeleteOK, I totally forgot about Lee Stephens...
ReplyDeleteI hope Bella plays along and doesn't feel betrayed, for both her sake and Edward's...
EnamoredHeart
like wow idk but this guy sounds pretty suspect to me!! i hope bella does pick up and plays along!! i still have to wonder how this guy found them! hmmm the plot thickens!lol! love it!
ReplyDelete@Fourchette
ReplyDeleteYou are a goddess!! :)
well i was wrong.. i don't trust this guy who appeared out of no where... lee is the whimpy guy who didn't like blood in the bio class!
ReplyDeleteChapters 57, 58, 59 & 60

ReplyDeleteI hope Bella realizes Edward's acting. And that she plays along even tho she's pissed at him. Really hoping this Lee guy won't cause any trouble. They really don't need anymore trouble.
P.S.
Where's Alice? I miss her a little.
Googled it sorry. Damn girl! How'd you ever pull that name?!
ReplyDeleteNope, door, dig a big fuckin hole. Alice is gonna kill your ass!
She's smart, I think she'll go along with him, then backslap the crap out of him later lol thanks Savage.
ReplyDeleteOh I loved this and He was the second person brought into see the nurse The one Mike brought in see you next update....
ReplyDeletedam woman, did you pull that character out of your arse or what?
ReplyDeletehhhmm i am not liking this at all. it is obvious Edward is not hiding very well if some low level gun supplier was able to find him.
Bella will play along just because there is someone there she doesn't know
i dont buy it,there is something more to this guy.
ReplyDeletei mean, who would be this dumb.
and bella, i really hope she gets it, and why the heck did she got out?
was edward not holding a gun in his hand?
and pointing...?
thanks for the update shay. ;)
Great chapter! Hopefully Bella will realize what's going on and play along and then when the guy is gone beat the crap out of Edward! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWow to those who knew who the Lee Stephens was, you had me baffled. I think Bella will catch on, she knows that they still may have people after them. She also would realize they are hiding so if he is acting different then there will be a reason for it.
ReplyDeleteDamn I don't know!! But I'm skeered! How did he find them! I'm dying here bb! Update soon!
ReplyDelete::sobbing::
ReplyDeleteNo hot doctor?
::more sobbing::
I'll shot that fucker for you Doofy, just because he isn't Carlise!
i keep forgettting about your story being here!
ReplyDeletestill love the banner..
i really hope that bella picks up on what edward is trying to do.
lee is the guy in the first book that mike carried to the nurse. i only know this because i just re-read twilight with my daughter!
Ahhh!
Every time I read that scene in the book, I chuckle and think of him!
don't think lee's story is good . . . very suspicious. don't think e should believe him at all. don't know how he would find e and also weird that he would come to him so late if it was legitimate inquiry for business. b will most likely play along because she is pretty smart.
ReplyDeleteWhoa. I have mixed feelings about this. She's still pissed, and now he's... oh lord!
ReplyDelete~Jessi
ok, so i def dont buy this guy?!?!? Lee Stephens....hahahahaaaaaaa, really sun sweel twi-trivia there. I dont kno wat or who he is or wat he's supposed 2 b but wat i do kno iz...he isnt really who he claims to be!!!!!! Now Bella, B GUD NOW....dont go fcukin this up YA HEARD!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOSHHHH, dis iz sum deep shittttt
ReplyDeleteGuessing she won't and that she may know the guy.
ReplyDeletePlease play nice Bella
ReplyDeleteLOL, my favorite saying is "Hindsight is 20/20", it's perfect vision.
ReplyDeleteI don't! :(
ReplyDeleteShe might play along! I wouldn't!! Maybe if she actually took Bio with this guy she'll know him!!! (took me a while to remember his name - my husband said i looked like I was in pain - but i'm excellent with remembering random information - I did google it just to check i was right lol)
ReplyDeleteI don't remember Lee Stephens at all - and I read the books 9 times - sad!! But that was a while ago - I devoted to FFN now :) I did read the other reviews to find out who he was and even then I didn't remember. I agree with everyone else - don't trust this guy - why does Edward seem to be???
ReplyDeleteThat is twiserious trivia. Remembered the name but shamefully had to google :/
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure Bella will get the message
I think Lee is not what he seems. Bella is smart, she'll play along (and knows how to use a Berretta)
